We Can't Stop Her...We Can Only Hope to Contain Her...

Tessa turned 7 months old yesterday, and she has definitely changed a lot this past month!! About a week ago she started crawling and she's getting better and better at it every day. She is into EVERYTHING now! This weekend she also started pulling up onto things. So, that means it's time for her crib mattress to be lowered...

I walked into her room to see how the project was going, and I found Tess helping Daddy with her crib.

She's always happy to help with EVERYTHING!

We also turned Kyri's crib into a toddler bed today. Tonight will be her first time in it. I'm a little nervous, because Kyri also starts preschool tomorrow. We'll see if she actually sleeps...

For Labor Day weekend, we went up to the lake house. Saturday it rained ALL day. So, it was a lazy day filled with naps and movies (and I actually got some school work done!) For dinner, though, we decided to have a little surf and turf. Kyle boiled crab legs and Larry made some steak. It was a delicious meal!
Kyri had a blast with these giant crab legs!

So did Kyle!

And our girl has expensive taste... she couldn't get enough of the crab meat!

Since the legs were so huge, we had to use some interesting methods to crack them open.

Luckily, on Sunday the rain stopped. It was still chilly but at least we were able to get outside!

Dan, Gina, and Cooper came up for the day.

Here are the girls (minus Tessa)

Even though it was only about 65 degrees, that didn't stop Coop and Kyri from going in the water. They enjoyed it while they were in there, but were freezing when they got out!

We made Dan go in with them!

Kyri got in on the Coulter family photo

Later that night, we had a campfire with Grandma and Grandpa.
Kyri loved her S'more!
Tess was mesmerized by the fire!

But it made her very sleepy...

Here's our crawler in action!
