Recap of the Week

We started off by going over to Kyle's Uncle Keith and Aunt Terri's house (The other Terri Burritt...obviously she spells her name wrong.) They served us some delicious lunch and let us take over their house with toys and babies all day.

Here are the three littlest Burritt girls
(A whole lot of cheeks in this picture!)

Tess and Gwyneth are already sharing their toys...or fighting over them?

Cutie Pie Gwyneth

Lillian was on a mission to get that bottle!

Jordyn had some great plans for the older cousins.
She helped them make Halloween necklaces.
And Jordyn took them outside to run around and explore.

Charlie and Kyri were rearranging their decorations.
Kyri kept saying that all of the spooky stuff was just "silly".
I think that's her way of reassuring herself that they're not real.

Then they found some piles of leaves!

Hmmm...not sure Charlie was too happy about Kyri decorating her with leaves.

I love this pic. So sweet.

We had so much fun, it was hard to say goodbye.

I had to throw this pic of Kyri in from last year, because Tessa wore this same outfit this year.
Here she is.
It cracks me up how different their body shapes are! Although they're two years apart in age, they're only one year apart in clothes sizes!

On Thursday, Kyri had her Halloween party at preschool. She decided she wanted to be a T-Rex, so we found this funny costume that she fell in love with. Since I had to work, I wasn't able to go to the party, but I snuck in for the last ten minutes on my lunch break.

She looked so adorable doing the alphabet dance with her tail flopping all around!

Later that night, my school hosted a family literacy night, and we invited Sue's Therapy Dog Club to come and read with the kids. Kyri got to come with us, and she loved being in charge of passing out the stickers to anyone who visited our station.
Here she is with Aunt Susie and Rookie!

Lots of fun Halloween activities still to come this weekend. Can't wait!

Tessa The Bulldozer

Our Tessa B has become a wild woman! Here's a video of her in action for those of you who haven't seen her in a while. I took it while Kyri and Kyle were napping when we were at the Lake last weekend. Tess and I were having some bonding time. She really cracks me up! I hope she keeps her sweet and silly personality!

Oh, yeah, and Kyri calls Tessa a bulldozer because she plows through everything! She has had LOTS of bumps and bruises lately!

Last Lake Visit of the Season

Since we had Monday off for Columbus Day, Kyle and I decided to take the girls up to the lake for one last time before it got too cold. We enjoyed a beautiful day on the boat, and Kyri got to try out her new princess fishing pole. She has been practicing casting in our basement for about a month and was very excited to use it for real at the lake. Unfortunately, she didn't get a single bite. Neither did Kyle or I or any of the other people we saw trying to fish. We tried from the shore, on different piers, and on the boat. It just wasn't a good day for fishing. Kyri didn't seem too discouraged, though. She still kept herself busy by playing with leaves and singing to herself. : )

More Fall Fun

We went to an apple orchard last weekend and got some cute pics. It was a fun day but very crowded! Here are my cuties...

Fun Fall Day (in 80 degree weather!)

We started out the day at the same pumpkin patch that we've been going to since Kyri and Aubry were born. Now it was Tessa's first time to join in on the fun. We were looking forward to bringing Bryan and Kay's future additions next year, but we found out today that this is the last year that this farm will be selling pumpkins. It's kind of sad that our tradition will have to end after just three short years. But we got some great pictures again this year. I don't know why pumpkins make such great props, but I love fall pictures!

Special thanks to Caty and Kevin Handell for the adorable shirts!!

My favorite of my two girls together.

And then it was time to be done with pictures!!

Later in the day, we went to a rib party/bonfire at the Grebners. It was a blast, and the weather was perfect! A little more like summer than fall, but I loved being able to sit by the fire in short sleeves! Thanks Sand and Steve for hosting a fun time.

Tessa and Uncle Scott

They had their own table!

Tessa getting one of Pop's famous swing rides.

Mmmmm...ribs are good!!!

Time for S'mores!

While most of us stayed out by the fire, some went in to watch Mary Poppins.

Aunt Sherry and K.J.

Aubs all snuggled up.

We had a great day, and the weekend has only just begun.
Lots more planned for the next two days. I will post more soon.
